Colm Moore’s work explores his immediate surroundings and personal experiences. Colm uses multiple mediums (Photography, sound and film) to channel these emotions in order to better understand himself and his place in this world.
This story begins around my brother Daniel's 16th birthday, a time when he is neither a child nor a man, lost in the space between. I use storytelling as a way of observing the transitions that he moves through. By channeling and questioning our experiences we come to terms with our fragility and vulnerability, as we make our way through this world. The imagery is simultaneously autobiographical, documentary, and fictional.
This is a work in progress which I began a year ago, and will continue until Daniel turns 18.
